Unlike most older Facebook members, I've been on Facebook for a number of years thanks to a college email account. This has allowed me to interact with my children and their friends. For over two years I was the only pre 2000 Dartmouth alum. With Facebook expanding to businesses I am in a quandary when business associates send me "friend invites". Do I want them to see my children's networks through me?? I know there is security, but it is not perfect. At one point this evening I almost used the "removed friend" command for a a number of folks ... but this would also send the wrong message. Thus, my basic question, how much intermingling do we all want between work and our personal lives. I don't know the answer to that question, but I would be very interested in hearing from those of you who are linked via Facebook to your college and high school aged children, and their friends.
